Diagnosis
Vertex smooth and shiny, posterior part with a median groove; mesoscutum with large-meshed, engraved and strong reticulation; propodeal callus with two setae; female coxae pale (yellowish-white to yellowish-brown), male coxae black with metallic tinges; costal cell bare; petiole 2.5X as long as wide in female, 3.3X in male; first gastral tergite smooth and shiny; male scape yellowish-brown. Similar to leius but female with pale coxae, male scape widest apically, and both sexes with entire midlobe of mesoscutum with engraved reticulation. See also albicoxa and petiolatus.
